Switch to the marker and draw however loosely you like; the ink stays inside whichever shape the stroke began in. Then brush a shadow down one side and add a shine, and the picture turns from a drawing into fruit.

Four beds, thirty-two packets
Every packet can grow three sprouts: one for colouring nearly every shape, one for glazing three of them, and one for its Grower's Brief, a small challenge like three shades of red or warm colours only. Sprouts open the next bed. Kernels from planting buy paint sets, new nibs such as chalk and watercolour, packet frames and ornaments for the plot.
